Glassmaking tradition

The Czech-Austrian glassmaking tradition is revived

The aim of the project is to promote and deepen the already existing CZ-AT cooperation, especially between glass artists. The glass trade has a long tradition both in the Vysočina region and in Lower Austria and can be innovatively developed through constant cooperation. A glass event at Světlá nad Sázavou Castle should also contribute to the revival of this craft. Target groups are those interested in art, history and traditional handicrafts, glass experts from Vysočina and Lower Austria, residents of the Vysočina region and visitors to the regions of South Bohemia, Central Bohemia, Pardubice, South Moravia, Liberec and Lower Austria (Waldviertel).
