Lower Austrian Museum Day

Every year in March, Museumsmanagement Niederösterreich organizes a specialist conference for over 200 museum employees. International lecturers are dedicated to selected topics from museum practice. In recent years, for example, topics as: Collections online. Inventory - digitization - presentation (2019), Collections and projects in monastic museums (2018), Quality offensive in museum depositories (2017) or Exhibition design and rendering ideas (2016). A large number of applicants find an important platform for getting to know each other and exchange information in the museum community.

After the specialist conference, which takes place annually at a different location in Lower Austria, you are invited to a sightseeing program.
